Dimitra Doumpioti BSc in Psychology from the University of Manchester, UK. Post graduate degree in Transpersonal Psychology, UK. Post graduate degree in Clinical Hypnosis, UB (University of Barcelona). Master in Systemic Family Therapy, UAB, Barcelona. She has collaborated as a researcher, therapist, trainer and consultant with renowned institutions such as the University of Manchester, Max Planck Institute (Germany), Diputación de Barcelona and Sant Pau Hospital, among others. She gives courses to public and private institutions on various topics within the field of Psychology, Family Therapy and Coaching. Founder and Director of Hestía. Luisa Barros is a psychologist from the Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS - Porto Alegre, Brasil). Specialist in Art Therapy within Social and Institutional Contexts from Instituto da Familia de Porto Alegre and Instituto Sedes Sapientiae. Master in Systemic Family Therapy from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Her work is based in Systems, Transpersonal and Gestaltic approaches to therapy. She works in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Irene Zschaeck is a psychologist from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Caracas-Venezuela) and a Master in Systemic Family Therapy from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Works with individuals, couples and families. Has a wide experience with children and adolescents. Also specialized in Health Psychology, helping patients and their families dealing with the challenges and difficulties disorders supposedly bring into their lives. At present works at the Asociación Catalana para el Parkinson, is a therapist in Hestía and coordinates the Educational Area. Works in Spanish and in English.
Belinda van den Berg trained as a psychiatrist in the Netherlands. She offers treatments combining medication and psychotherapy (cognitive behavioral treatments) in English, Dutch and Spanish. She specializes in the treatment of depression, bipolar disorder and addictions. In the Netherlands she worked in a center specialized in the treatment of patients with addictive disorders. Furthermore, she worked in an outpatient department in Leiden for some years, participating in a treatment team specializing in the treatment of patients with depression and bipolar disorders. Since 2007 she has lived and worked in Barcelona. She is involved in research projects aimed at an earlier detection of patients with bipolar disorders. She has published various articles about the psychotherapeutic treatment options in bipolar disorder.
Dra. Jaci Molins has a Bachelor of Medicine and surgery, from the U.A.B. Specialist in rehabilitation: Hospital Vall d’ Hebron, U.A.B. Master in Systemic Family Therapy: Hospital de Sant Pau, Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. At present she manages the rehabilitation service at Sant Pau y Santa Tecla Hospital. She is a teacher in the Medicine Depertment, U.R.V. Gives in courses for Health Professionals. She is also a Personal Coach for Coachville and Directive Coach with the authorization of Coachville Spain; member of IAC. She has much experience as a coach, therapist and in directive posts in the Health field.
Blanca Santos, is a clinical and educational psychologist. Post graduated in “Death and Duel” (Universitat Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona). Psychotherapist with a large experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Qualified for the utilization of EMDR technique. Specialist en violence and abuse recovering processes. Worked for the Generalitat de Catalunya at the first centre specialized in male violence, offering individual and group therapies, as well as workshops. Collaborated with the Government of Guayaquil (Ecuador), at a pioneer program in therapy for adolescents in risk of exclusion. At present collaborates as an Educational Psychologist at Chiqui Tin Centre of Viladecans, as a consultant to educators and parents, giving talks, and is an individual psychotherapist at the Centre Mèdic Sitges and at Hestía Centre. Adrián Galati is a musictherapist who gained his qualification from the Faculty of Pyschology, University of Buenos Aires (Argentina). He is an actor from the School of Dramatical Arts (Arg.) and a musician (drums, guitar, piano). He has wide experience in the application of music therapy, including: the psychic and psychiatric disorders approach (neurosis an psychosis), autistic spectrum, TGD, motor diminution and Alzheimers disease. He participates in a research group from Fundación España, in Music Cognitive Evaluation and Stimulation in patients with dementia. At present he is developing Music Cognitive Stimulation programs for patients with Progressive Cognitive Dementia, at the Residencia Claret Mapfre Quavitae, in the Barcelona Association for families affected by Alzheimers (AFAB), and at the Socioeducative unit for Alzheimers BCN.
Sally Schofield, is an art therapist. She did her post graduate training at the University of Barcelona: Master in Art Therapy and Psychotherapeutic Applications of the Artistic Practice. She is a member of the directive board of the Spanish Association for Art Therapists (ATE), and a member of the British Association for Art Therapists (BAAT). She has specialized in work with people affected by neurodegenerative disorders. Her experience includes attention to adults, young people and children in special education, in group and individual therapies. She has also organized various workshops on Art Therapy and collaborated as a cotherapist in psychological support groups. She currently works for the Catalan Parkinson Association and gives Art therapy at Hestia. She offers sessions in English and in Spanish.
Amita Butler, is a specialist in Clinical Cognitive Hypnosis: HPD- Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma and DipCHyp – Cognitive Hypnotherapy Diploma. Member of the NCH, one of the largest hypnotherapy organizations in the UK. Trained at the internationally recognized Quest Institute in London. Master Practitioner in NLP, studied with Paul McKenna and Richard Bandler, founders of NLP. Is also an expert in the following techniques: E.F.T (Emotional Freedom Technique) y E.M.I (Eye Movement Integration), both of which are incredibly successful at stopping the unconscious emotional response to painful memories. Laetitia Tafelmacher, is a psychologist who trained at the University of Barcelona and the University of René Descartes - París V. She has a Post Graduate qualification in Couples Therapy and a Masters in Cognitive Social Therapy, both from the University of Barcelona. The core of her therapeutic practice is Constructivist, Systemic and Existentialist. She has experience in individual psychotherapy, group therapy and workshops for adults. She is part of the French Department of Hestía.
Luis Pulgar Perera is a psychologist from Universidad Central de Venezuela. Specialized in Clinical Psychology at the Psychiatric Service of the Hospital Universitario de Caracas (Venezuela). Kamen Petrov, is a psychologist and psychotherapist working in Jungian perspective who holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Alpen-Adria University in Austria. He has also studied at Paris Lodron University in Austria, Université de Provence in France, the Bulgarian Study Program for Jungian Psychotherapists and the International School of Analytical Psychology in Switzerland. Kamen works with a wide variety of psychological issues in a depth-psychological perspective and considers the difficulties we encounter in our lives as chances for personal growth and development. He works with adults and adolescents in English, German and Bulgarian.
Daniela Parodi Herz graduated as a psychologist from the University Andres Bello (Caracas, Venezuela) and holds a Master's degree of Psychology of the Université Toulouse (Toulouse, France). She also has a Masters in Dynamic Clinical Psychology from the University of Barcelona and a specialization in Mental Health and psychological interventions with immigrants, refugees and minorities. She also holds the Systemic Family Therapy Master of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She has extensive experience as individual psychotherapist, as well as couples and family therapist. For already 4 years now, she has been participating in the team of interculturality of the Family Therapy Service of Hospital Sant Pau i Santa Creu, Barcelona. She works as a psychologist and family therapist in the program -ProInfancia- of the "Obra Social La Caixa" that has been developed as part of the program -Casal dels Infants del Raval-. Helena Garcia holds a degree in psychology from the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona. She is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society and was trained in Counselling and Psychotherapy in the School of Psychology and Counseling Psicotherapy, London. She has also worked extensively in the field of autism in adults. Her training also covers aspects of treatment and prevention of drug abuse, nutrition disorders, etc. She is currently studying for a Master's degree in Analytical Psychology and Psychotherapy at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Michal Jasinski graduated from the University of Gdansk, Poland and holds two degrees of this university: Cross-cultural and Gender Psychology and Scandinavian Studies. He has been educated in psychotherapy in Poland and at the University of Barcelona. He works mainly within a cognitive-constructivist and strategic approach. Thanks to his extensive formation he is able to handle problems of intercultural communication and acculturation of immigrants. Michal attends in Spanish, English, Polish and Swedish.
Angela Teresa Ott is a psychologist trained at the Technical University of Berlin, Universiteit van Amsterdam and the University Granada. She is Advanced Practitioner in Cognitive Therapy and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy certified by the Argentinian Centre of Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behaviour Therapie and the Albert Ellis Institute New York. She is currently enrolled in a Master progamme in Clinical Practice at the Spanish Association for Clinical Cognitive Behaviour Psychology. Furthermore, she specialized at the University of Barcelona in the field mental health and migration. She is experienced in intercultural coaching, health psychology and individual therapy as well as in the field of HR. At the present she is working in an intercultural consultancy and collaborates with the organization Psychologists without Borders. She is fluent in German, Spanish and English.
